Last night after the evening service Libby, Sarah, and I went over the Alisha and Vanessa's house to hang out. The whole time we talked about the end times. Every time I talk about it I get so excited! Seriously, it is awesome to know that I will be a part of Jesus coming back for His people! Think about it... its crazy!!! And people are always to to contradict what we Christians know is truth. If they would read Luke 21, it corrects everything they say. They try to quote the Bible... "Well, the Bible says 'there will be wars and rumors of wars in the last days'. Thats been happening for ever!" Ya know what, thats right. It has, but check out Luke 21:9
When you hear of wars and revolutions,
do not be frightened. These things must happen first,
but the end will not come right away.
See, the end will not come right away. You have to relate the signs of the end times to birth pains. When I woman is having a baby, her contractions don't start out 1 minute apart from each other. They are far apart and as time gets closer, the contractions get closer together. Thats why Jesus relates them to birth pains. People just need to think. The Bible spells it out plainly. Check this out... Luke 21:25
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars.
On the earth, nations will be in anguish and
perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
Signs in the sun, moon and stars... the 26th of this month I believe, we are going to see a planet at night that will be brighter than the moon. I can't remember which one it is but I'm sure you guys got the foreward. It has never been this bright before and expected never to be again. It will be brighter than the moon! And look at the end of that verse, nations... in anguish... at the roaring and tossing of the sea. The Tsunami! The hurricanes, (katrina). There are many other things that are happening and have happened to support these verses, but now look at this. After these things have happened, then look what the Bible says in Luke 21:27, 28 & 31
At that time (when the things I've stated above happen)
they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud
with power and great glory. When these things
begin to take place, stand up and lift up your
heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
Even so, when you see these things happening,
you know that the kingdom of God is near.
Point made? I hope so, because this stuff is important for Believers and Non-Believers alike. We must be living right and telling people this info! Verses 34-36 say this...
Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down
with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of
life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like
a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the
face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and
pray that you may be able to escape all that is about
to happen, and that you may be able to stand before
the Son of Man.
Look what the end says, " pray that you man be able to escape all that is about to happen..." That throws those peoples theory of us Christians having to go through the tribulation down the drain! Seriously, where do people come off trying to contradict the Bible. They think they know and they are leading people astray. All they have to do is just read... read it! Anyway, this has turned into a very long update. My apologies! Hopefully you guys read it all!
